Echoes of the Brotherhood [Rome, Vatican City & Monteriggioni, Italy]

by - May 10, 2016

What do you say about the city where people always sing? The city that has trees and flowers from every little crack? The city where art finds you anywhere you go? The city where you either walk through roads built for the gods, or through ones that barely fit a single person, with no in-between?

Me, I say nothing; I merely halt in my tracks, take a deep breath, exhale, and admire it.
And then...

What would you say to a trip out of town? To a cozy little hotel room tucked away in a quiet street somewhere? To artisan shop next to artisan shop in the town square? To gelato for breakfast and pizza for dinner?

What would you say to going up the castle walls surrounding this tiny little village, one you only visited because of your favourite video game series? But, most importantly, what would you say to the love of your life asking you with a cheesy smile on their face to, please, spend the rest of your life with them?

I don't know about you, but I said yes.
